We spent most of the last week or two digging out of the snow. With the holidays and blizzards and such, I did not get a ton of work done at the house. I did manage to track down a lumber yard that has 2x6 tongue and groove floor boards in stock. I need the floor boards to fix the rotting footer in the back corner of the barn where the small door is located. As I started to remove the floor boards and the door frame, the rot problem revealed itself to be not only bigger, but also a slight carpenter ant problem as well. I now have to place the footer, the door frame (including the header), 11 floor boards, and bit of the siding. The trim on the outside corner also needs to be replaced, but I will wait on that until we redo the siding on the back of the barn. I took a 'before' picture of the door frame:
