Old construction meets new construction.
Spacious. They pulled this window so that I could use it in the barn.
Not so new construction. This is the ceiling in the old kitchen. The first boards you can see were holding up the plaster, drop ceiling. Old beams above.
LOL! Just look at those nice, even boards that held the ceiling up for how long? Makes you wonder if we really need all the construction regulations of today, doesn't it? That's classic.

Love the view out the back room - hope it continues to have such a view/sunroom/breakfast nook/deck? in the new plans! Looks like a great place for deer-watching and tea drinking!

That view is essentially the view out the back of the house. We are going to add new, big windows as well as French doors across the back of the house. There will also be some sort of patio or pergola or both in the back of the house.
